See Estimated burndown path, burndown path and Cumulative burndown path where value increase is summed up through the period and the path burns down by using decrease in value.

Extend the Scrum board

Scrumban

Extend the “In Progress” column into several columns which indicate the particular stage a Task goes through. Everybody knows what’s going on and tasks are completed as quickly as possible.

Limit WIP

Scrumban WIP limits

Limiting WIP helps you prevent process overflow. The limits are shown at the top right corner of each column. You’ll be warned when you try to break the limit.
